Getting Started
How does Sympnote work?
Three steps:
- Capture — When something happens, jot it down. Press and hold to dictate.
- Synthesize — Before an appointment, open the Briefs tab and tap Generate. Pick which notes to include and which doctor it's for. Sympnote's AI organizes everything into a focused brief.
- Share — Open the brief → tap Share. Send as text through any messaging app, or export a clean PDF to print or email.
How do I add my first note?
You have two options:
- Voice — On the Home tab, press and hold the + button. Speak naturally, e.g. "Headache started around 3pm, sharp behind my left eye, lasted about an hour." Sympnote transcribes on-device and saves the text.
- Type — On the Home tab, tap the + button to open the typing surface. Write what you want and tap Save.
Do I need to record every day?
No. Sympnote works just as well for the occasional symptom as it does for daily logging. Capture what matters when it matters — the brief organizes whatever you have.
Do I need an account?
No. Sympnote does not ask you to sign up. Everything stays on your device.
Voice Notes
Voice notes aren't transcribing. What should I check?
